Here's What's New for April, 2010:
The Department of Public Safety's classes begin in May, in northern Nevada. Be sure to check the available classes by clicking on the "classes" button. On that page are also listed other sponsors that you can call for classes. Their telephone numbers are also listed. NEW NEWS FROM THE NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES! Nevada DMV has adopted the Real ID Act. What this means is anyone going to DMV to get their driver's license must prove who they are and where you live. What this means to a person taking a rider course, passing the course, and wanting to add a motorcycle endorsement to their license must also comply with DMV's new rule. To add an endorsement, you must bring to DMV your birth certificate or a passport, plus your social security card and two proofs of residency. For a complete list of acceptable documdents, go to http://www.dmvnv.com/pdfforms/dmv004.pdf. Ride safe. Ride often. Ride sober.
