Motorcycle safety instructors are the backbone of the Nevada Rider Motorcycle Safety Program. There are never enough. These individuals are professionals that have the unique ability to coach new and experienced riders to a more skillful riding tactic.

The more miles that you’ve ridden on your motorcycle, the more experience you have. It is this experience that prepared you for everyday riding situation, no matter how routine they seem to be.
Here is your chance to put that know-how to work and help other motorcyclists become better riders. The Nevada Rider Motorcycle Safety Program needs men and women with clean driving records and good riding and interpersonal skills to teach our Basic and Experienced RiderCourses. After all, the more you know, the better it gets!
To be eligible to become an instructor, you must:

What are the steps to becoming an instructor?
Once certified and licensed as an instructor, you can apply and teach at one of the Nevada Rider contracted training sites, all over the state.

When and where will the instructor training take place?
The Nevada Rider Motorcycle Safety Program generally offers two new instructor classes each year - one in Carson City, and one in Las Vegas. The classes generally are conducted over three successive weekends, or for seven consecutive days. The class has a tuition of $100.00.
What are the benefits? Although sponsors do compensate their instructors, the real "pay" comes from the students themselves. The smiles you get, the pats on the back, the sincere "thank you" that comes from the student, who you helped ride better, are the real rewards for being an instructor.
